Steve leaves the Tigers.

Steve Bruce leaves Hull City after four years of working with the club. He was even touted to take the position of England national team squad some days back.

Steve Bruce has offered his resignation as Hull boss - days after being interviewed for the England manager’s job.
Just 21 days ahead of the new season lawyers are set to be called in to resolve the terms of his departure.
Mirror Football understands the 55-year-old former defender decided on Thursday night to step down after being left disillusioned by the Tigers’ lack of investment despite their mounting injury list.
Defender Michael Dawson became the latest in a string of players to suffer lengthy injuries this week. It left Bruce preparing for the new season with just 13 fit players available to him.

Wayne Rooney's fate in Man. United

Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has seen his role within the squad change gradually over the seasons, with the player recognising his pace is declining, and focusing his attention on other attributes. The summer arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Old Trafford, as well as the emergence of Marcus Rashford, have forced Rooney to feature further back on the pitch than previous years, though what type of player can we expect the England star to be next season?
The 30-year-old struggled as part of a disorganised midfield orchestrated by Roy Hodgson at the European Championships, offering little idea of how the line-up will look at United. Nonetheless, Rooney’s physical and technical attributes can offer some suggestion as to what contribution he can make for the Red Devils.
It has been noted for some time that Rooney’s speed has been diminishing, no longer quite as explosive as during his teenage years. Although much of his strength and physicality remains, it’s unlikely that the United captain will feature in a similar role that of Frank Lampard at Chelsea, making incisive runs through the defence and reaching high-scoring totals. Similarly, Rooney will probably not be deployed as a number 10, supporting the lone striker as a playmaker like Eden Hazard. The Red Devils already have enough squad members in that role, with Juan Mata and Henrikh Mkhitaryan among options much more comfortable there.
Indeed, Rooney’s strengths lie in the ability to read the game, dictate the tempo of the match, and switch play across the pitch with long-range passes. As the captain for club and country, he would be better positioned to issue orders in a central-midfield ‘enforcer’ role akin to former teammate Paul Scholes. There will be fewer goals and assists registered next to Rooney’s name, but would allow the player to remain important and effective, and United need some stability during the continued transition phase at the club

Inter step up bid for Candreva.

Inter had been keen on landing Brazilian prospect, Jesus, this summer but new City boss Pep Guardiola seems set to win the race for his signature.
And according to reports in Italy, that news has encouraged Inter to turn their attention back to landing Italy international Candreva.
The 29-year-old Lazio man has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea, who are now managed by his former national team coach Antonio Conte.
Lazio are willing to sell him this summer but only if a club are prepared to pay their £21million asking price.
Until now, Inter were only ready to offer around £15m for a player, who will turn 30 in February, but with their attempts to land Jesus failing, they may be about to up their bid.

I doubt if this bid will be a good one.

United hope for Mata.

Mourinho has disclosed his desire to stick with former Chelsea player,Juan Mata.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Mourinho has dismissed rumours that he will force Juan Mata to leave during the transfer window. The Spanish playmaker has been linked with a departure since the manager’s appointment, but there is still a place for Mata in the squad, with Mourinho saying ‘I think he is happy and I am not expecting him to ask to leave. I am expecting him to do what he is doing now, which is to fight for a place.’ Mourinho went on to deny that he pressured the 28-year-old to leave Chelsea two years ago, claiming that it was solely Mata’s choice.

Another big player recruitment for Man united?

Spanish newspaper El Confidencial claim that United are preparing a £54 million bid for Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez. Manager Jose Mourinho met with executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward earlier in the week, with both understood to be interested in the Colombian international. Rumours have been suggesting that Real are willing to listen to offers for Rodriguez, who has fallen behind in selection at the Bernabeu.
This will be another big signing for United,if Pogba deal eventually goes through.
